Who we are
Corfu Sea Farm S.A., Vathi–Kassiopi, 49081 Corfu, Greece, is responsible for personal data processed through exports.corfuseafarm.com. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email info@corfuseafarm.com or write to the address above.
Export enquiries
When you contact us, we process the company name, business email address, destination country, product interest and any requirements or other information you provide. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.
We use this information to assess your requirements, respond about availability and pricing, and manage the resulting commercial discussion. Required fields are needed to handle the enquiry; the requirements message is optional.
For enquiries made on behalf of a business, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business contacts and developing commercial relationships. Where you personally request steps towards a contract with us, we rely on those pre-contractual steps where applicable. We may retain relevant records to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise unrelated promotional emails.
Website operation, analytics and advertising
Our hosting and security services process technical information, such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and server logs, to deliver and protect the website. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable service. Cookies strictly necessary to provide the service or remember cookie choices operate without optional cookie consent.
With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits and interactions, including successful enquiries. With advertising permission, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag measure visits and completed enquiries for advertising measurement and related advertising features. Depending on the service and your settings, these providers may associate website activity with identifiers or information they hold about you. Google Analytics enquiry events are also used for conversion measurement in our linked Google Ads account.
Our enquiry tracking sends an event indicating successful submission. It is not configured to send the company name, email address or requirements message to these platforms as event parameters.
Optional analytics and advertising processing relies on consent. You can refuse it and still send an enquiry. You can change or withdraw permission through Cookie settings at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. See our Cookie policy.
Who receives information
Authorised company staff and service providers supporting our website, hosting, email, IT administration and marketing measurement may process relevant information as needed for their tasks. Enquiry content is used for handling the commercial request; access is limited to those who need it for that purpose or to support the systems involved. Enquiries are stored in the website database and, when email notifications are enabled, sent to our business inbox.
Where optional tracking is enabled, relevant information is received by Google, Meta and LinkedIn. Their handling of that information is also described in their notices: Google, Meta and LinkedIn.
International transfers
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag as described in this notice. These services may involve processing personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States.
Depending on the provider and transfer concerned, applicable safeguards include European Commission adequacy decisions, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for transfers to participating organisations, or European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses.
Further information about these arrangements is available in the privacy and transfer information published by Google, Meta and LinkedIn. For questions about transfers involving your information, or to request information about applicable safeguards, contact info@corfuseafarm.com.
How long we keep information
We retain enquiry information while responding to your request and during any resulting commercial discussions or relationship. We review inactive enquiries annually and delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed. Relevant records may be retained longer to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Our Google Analytics property is configured to retain ordinary event-level data for 2 months and user-level data, including key-event data covered by that setting, for 14 months. The user-retention period is not reset by new activity. Google applies deletion on its processing schedule. These controls do not apply to standard aggregated reports or necessarily to data held independently by advertising providers.
Customer, transaction and related correspondence records are retained for the duration of the commercial relationship and afterwards where required by applicable accounting, tax or other legal obligations, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Server and security logs are retained for the period needed to monitor security, investigate incidents and resolve technical problems. Relevant records may be retained longer while a specific incident or dispute remains unresolved.
Consent records are retained while we rely on the consent and afterwards for the period reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance or resolve related complaints.
When enquiry information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it in WordPress and delete relevant copies from our email systems, unless another lawful retention requirement applies. Copies in backups expire through the backup rotation schedule. If a backup is restored, previously required deletions are reapplied.
Cookie lifetimes are listed in our Cookie policy. These do not necessarily equal the retention periods for information held by the respective providers.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including on grounds relating to your particular situation, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact us using the details above. We may need information to verify your identity before responding.
You can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority, including in the country where you live or work.
We do not use your enquiry information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Our team reviews enquiries and handles commercial discussions directly.

We update this notice when our practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
